Every psychic has a unique journey that shapes their approach to their practice. My background, experiences, and personal values have influenced how I connect with and guide my clients. In this article, I will share how my upbringing, community involvement, education, and life experiences have moulded my psychic abilities and the way I conduct my readings, offering a glimpse into the personal journey that informs my approach.
Family and Spirituality
Catholic Upbringing: I grew up in a Catholic family, so initially I found it incredibly challenging to open up to them about my psychic experiences. Their traditional views made it difficult to discuss my intuitive abilities openly (well thats what i thought) But being brought up catholic, opened me up to the spirit world.
Discovering my Families Experiences: When I finally did share my experiences, I discovered that many family members had their own psychic encounters. This provided a sense of connection and validation, and showed me that psychic abilities were something that ran in my family. I heard stories about grandparents, great-grandparents seeing spirits. And I heard stories from my parents, cousins etc about their own psychic experiences. Even though, I have family members who were so understanding and supportive, there are still family members I haven’t told due to their beliefs, which I know would deeply upset them if I did tell them.
Early Experiences
First Psychic Experience: When i was a child, I remember I would smell things and taste things that were unexplainable — I always thought it was just my imagination. But when I was 13, I heard my nanna’s voice (who passed away) This moment confused me, I didn't know what psychics were and I was actually quite sceptical. But the more I tuned in, the more information I would receive.
Psychic Training
Mentorship: I was very lucky to have the opportunity to receive support and training from experienced and professional Psychics. They helped me refine my abilities, develop ethical practices, and build confidence in my psychic abilities and conducting readings.
Community Involvement
My involvement in community work has significantly shaped my approach to my psychic practice, focusing on empathy, collaboration, and support.
Supporting the Young: Working in child care and youth work taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and creating a safe environment for young people. These experiences helped me develop strong listening skills and the ability to provide guidance that is both compassionate and empowering.
Caring for the Elderly: I had the opportunity to do a few months of work experience in an Aged Care. It allowed me to connect with the elderly, understanding their unique needs and the importance of empathy and respect. This work reinforced the value of offering comfort and clarity, especially during challenging times.
Counselling: I studied a Diploma of Community Services, which touched on Counselling skills. My background in counselling has been crucial in shaping my psychic practice. It provided me with tools to facilitate open and honest communication, ensuring that clients feel heard and valued. Learning a Counselling approach has helped me create a supportive environment where clients can explore their concerns and receive insightful guidance.
Collaborative and Team-Oriented Approach
In my practice, I prioritise a collaborative and team-oriented approach, ensuring that clients have an active role in their sessions.
Client Empowerment
Active Participation: I encourage clients to actively participate in their readings, sharing their thoughts, feelings, and questions. This collaborative approach ensures that the guidance provided is relevant and personalised.
Respecting Free Will: Emphasising the importance of free will, I remind clients that they have the power to shape their own futures. My role is to offer insights, support and provide clients with potential future outcomes — not to dictate decisions and choices.

Non-Judgmental Environment: I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. This environment creates trust and openness, allowing for deeper and more meaningful connections.
Team Work Approach: Viewing the client and myself as a team, we work together to explore their concerns and find solutions. This approach ensures that clients feel supported and empowered throughout the process.

Sometimes information may be vague or generalised — depending on the energy and the interaction between the client and myself. But I always try my very best to provide clients with specific and detailed information.
